NAIA Intercollegiate Athletics

Points and times are important, but Taylor’s athletic success is also measured by the way our student-athletes and coaches demonstrate respect, sportsmanship, integrity, and humility on and off the field.

Taylor Athletics has 16 intercollegiate athletic teams—baseball, basketball, cheer, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, track & field, softball, tennis, and volleyball—that uphold this commitment.

Our academic and athletic successes can largely be attributed to our unique understanding of and dedication to community and our united profession of faith in Jesus Christ. We all desire to know God and live for him, and that fuels everything we do.

Athletic Clubs

Love playing sports? Athletic clubs and intramural sports help you to be a good steward of your body, extending healthy competition for all athletic skill levels. Have fun, get active, build relationships with teammates, and live your faith out on the field.

Intramurals are open to all, and athletic clubs vary in competition levels and time commitments.

Intramural Sports

Intramural sports are a great way to blow off steam, build friendships with people in your residence hall, and stay active during Indiana winters (and the rest of the year, too!). Nearly half of the student body participates in intramural sports at some point during their time at Taylor. Faculty, staff, and their spouses are also welcome to compete with students in league-style sports.

Intramurals Schedule

Important: Current academic year intercollegiate athletes may not participate in their respective sport or related sport (i.e., baseball team players are ineligible for intramural softball), although they may participate in unrelated sports if cleared by coaching staff.

Fall: Flag Football (men & women), Soccer (men, women, & coed), Dodgeball (men, women, & coed)

J-Term: Volleyball (coed)

Spring: Basketball (men & women), Ultimate Frisbee (men & women), Softball (men & women), Volleyball Tournament (men & women)
