Life Is, a collection of pieces from Taylor University student artists, opens Friday, October 25, at Blackford County Arts in neighboring Hartford City.

Life Is includes work produced by 13 Taylor University art majors: Christi Dithrich, Gordon Helmke, Hannah Hepler, Tabitha Hillebrand, Stephanie Hinshaw, Leah Kanuchok, Caitlyn Kuhn, Kyndra Roberson, Melody Sheehan, Brittany Smith, Naphtalee Stutzman, Rachel Tobin, and Marika Wormgoor.

The theme of Life Is centers on one of life's most common and unavoidable experiences: pressure.

The public is invited to the opening reception on Friday, which begins at 7:00 p.m. Organizers say the evening will include artist talks, music and refreshments.

Blackford County Arts is located at 107 West Washington Street in Hartford City.
