Things to Know:

  • You must be be 16 to 19 years old; age is the only admission criteria (no testing).
  • You can enroll in a class any day of the year. You'llgain access to the class within 2 business days of enrolling.
  • You can have 1 week to determine if the class is a good fit before any penalty—financial or academic.
  • Complete the course within 4 months at your own pace.
  • Taylor is fully accredited. That means all of our courses are transferable to any other institution.

Tuition for high school students is $200 per credit hour (normal undergraduate rate is $400/hr). 24 credit hours may be taken at this discounted rate. The discount does not apply to professional writing courses taken in conjunction with the Jerry Jenkins Writers Guild. 

Enrolling is Easy!

  1. Find a class you want to take. 
  2. Click enroll now.
  3. Complete the enrollment form for an online individual course.
  4. Pay for your course. A link will be sent to you via email after completing the enrollment form.
  5. Login to Brightspace using instructions sent after payment is completed.
  6. Order your textbooks (listed in course catalog section of the website). 

Suggestions on Selecting a Class

  • Browse the course catalog.
  • Take a 100 or 200 level course (versus 300 or 400), which indicate academic rigor.
  • Keep your long-term plan in mind. Future TU students, see what our registrar recommends for you!
  • Stick to general education classes such as history, literature, and communication.
