Application Process

Taylor University is seeking applicants who are committed to preparing themselves professionally and personally. Applicants must possess or anticipate a Master’s degree from an accredited U.S. or international college or university and should demonstrate academic and/or professional leadership experience.

Completed applications for the Ph.D. in Leadership Program will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the summer cohort has reached enrollment capacity.

The following application items are required for our Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership application process:

Admissions Application

  1. Admissions Narrative
    • Personal qualities/experiences demonstrating leadership
    • Professional goals
  2. Resumé
    Upload this during the online application.
  3. Transcripts
    Submit official transcripts from all previous graduate institutions to Taylor University via mail (address provided during online application process).
  4. References
    Submit email addresses for three references: two academic or professional references and one Christian character reference.
  5. Writing Sample
    Upload a 1500-word, academic writing sample

International students: please submit a transcript evaluation by World Education Services (WES).

Admissions Interview
