Pursue a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) at Taylor University, where you will experience professional learning and practical growth opportunities alongside other like-minded students.
As a discipleship community, where “iron sharpens iron” (Proverbs 27:17) and Christians can learn and grow together, 100% of TU students, faculty, and staff make a profession of faith before entering the University. Taylor is distinctive in its commitment to both spiritual and intellectual development. For more information on the Taylor culture, review the Foundational Documents and Life Together Covenant.
A Physician Assistant degree at Taylor will prepare you to face the challenges of a career in medicine and to provide whole-person healthcare in the communities you serve. At Taylor, we believe the greatest example of a faithful servant-leader exemplifying whole-person care is Jesus Christ. His heart drives our program and is the standard for all we seek to accomplish.
Lifestyle Medicine uses therapeutic lifestyle interventions as a primary modality to treat chronic conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and obesity. By using evidence-based, whole-person, prescriptive lifestyle changes in conjunction with traditional medicine, patients are set up for success to treat and, when used intensively, often reverse such conditions.
You will be trained to view each patient with respect, dignity, and compassion, recognizing the innate value with which Christ has created us. Since Christ came to give life more abundantly, the PA program serves as a natural means to this end.
The PA program includes a service focus with opportunities integrated throughout the 27-month curriculum. This atmosphere of service develops a desire in students to continue finding ways to serve post-graduation. You will experience both local and global service opportunities, exemplifying the service Christ showed to others.

The Taylor University PA Program has applied for Accreditation-Provisional from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The Taylor PA Program anticipates matriculating its first class in August 2025, pending achieving Accreditation-Provisional status at the March 2025 ARC-PA meeting. Accreditation-Provisional is an accreditation status granted when the plans and resource allocation, if fully implemented as planned, of a proposed program that has not yet enrolled students appear to demonstrate the program’s ability to meet the ARC-PA Standards or when a program holding accreditation-provisional status appears to demonstrate continued progress in complying with the Standards as it prepares for the graduation of the first class (cohort) of students. In the event the program does not earn provisional accreditation, students will not matriculate and the admission deposit will be refunded.
This program will not commence unless and until both ARC-PA and the Higher Learning Commission have approved the program.
