Hollywood Internship Program

Exceptional students with a passion for working and serving in the entertainment industry may apply to Taylor University’s Hollywood Internship Program (TUHIP), open to Film & Media Production majors. Those accepted spend one semester of their junior or senior year in Los Angeles, learning what it means to thrive as a Christian in the entertainment industry.

Students have the opportunity to earn up to 16 credit hours. They complete two internships in their area of interest (cinematography, producing, directing, editing, writing, etc.) and take a course called “Inside the Entertainment Industry” taught by film industry professionals. Taylor’s program coordinator, Andrew Neel, also arranges special events and networking on a weekly basis.

Students live in apartments at Fuller Seminary’s Guest and Conference Center.

An Alternative Hollywood Semester

An additional Hollywood semester study program is offered by the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. Students from any major may apply to the Los Angeles Film Studies Center. Read more.
