Career Accomplishments

Andrea has more than 29 years of experience in the development and management of large-scale investment real estate projects, including operational leadership roles.

She has been involved in the development and management of more than 1,700 award-winning apartment homes in West Michigan and Phoenix. Combining market research, financial analysis, and a Human Centered Design approach, she casts a vision for a project and aligns diverse teams around common objectives.

Reflecting her commitment to healthy communities, she also brings more than six years of experience as executive director of a medical foundation where she developed grant programs that addressed fundamental health and wellness needs and created a successful educational program to attract and prepare high school students for medical careers.

At Taylor, she combines her leadership and development experience to create spaces that benefit people and the community.

About

As a graduate of Taylor University, Andrea is pleased to return to Upland to contribute to the area.  She is a native of West Michigan and has two adult children. She grew up camping and volunteering at Bair Lake Bible Camp and now serves on its Board of Trustees. In her free time, she invests in entrepreneurial endeavors and provides consulting services to companies and non-profit organizations.
