Colby has more than 25 years of leadership and human resources experience in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. One of these organizations earned the Chicago Tribune’s #1 Best Place to Work in Chicagoland for mid-sized firms. He is the founder of The Turos Group, which focuses on equipping leaders, teams, and organizations to realize their potential. Motivated by the collective potential of developing people and winning organizations, Colby’s research-based framework, The Five Rhythms, solves business problems with people solutions, maximizing employee engagement and organizational performance.

Colby lives in the Chicago area with his wife and two sons. He is a small groups pastor at his church, serving in the middle school ministry. Colby enjoys spending time with his family, watching college football, collecting sports cards, and building Legos.
