Instructor of Design
Ever since I was a child, I loved creating things. From building legos to painting to writing and illustrating an award-winning book (it was a local competition for kids), I strive to find ways to make the world around me a more engaging place. I believe this sense of creative energy is inherently present in all of us, being made in the image of the ultimate Creator.
As an adult, this love of creativity translated to a career in the visual communication field. With over 5 years experience in both freelance and team-based settings, my design work has covered both digital and print-based mediums in commercial and non-profit settings. I am currently wrapping up an MFA in Communication Design at Kutztown University and have continued to cultivate a passion for brand identity design, specifically within a small-town setting. Much of the work I continue to work with clients on involves creating distinctive, memorable identities for organizations and individuals by helping them to discover their inherent strengths and value.
Outside of my professional life, I love simply living life with my family. My wife, Megan, and I are joined by our daughter, Addelyn, and our two pups Rook and Raleigh. We enjoy playing board games and grabbing good coffee, visiting some of the many amazing farmer's markets around the area, and binge-watching cheesy TV shows when our schedules allow. I personally describe myself as a culture nerd and love everything from Marvel to Star Wars. I'm also a huge fan of classic literature and love exploring new locations with my family, especially when it comes to food!
