Michael Mortensen

Biography

Michael Mortensen ’91 has served at Taylor since 1997 (with the exception of a year and a half when he and his wife were short-term missionaries) in various alumni and development roles. Michael and his wife, Christine (La Rue ’92), who got engaged beneath the Rice Bell Tower, have four children—Ashlyn ’17, Alli ’20, Anna ’23, and David ’24. The family loves hosting students as their “home away from home,” and taking students on short-term mission projects. The family resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
