What Will Data Science Camp Be Like?

This summer at Data Science Camp, you will learn to extract insights and make informed decisions from vast amounts of data. Through hands-on activities, interactive workshops, and real-world case studies, you will explore fundamental concepts such as data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization. By the end of the camp, you can expect to:

• Gain proficiency in software tools for data analysis
• Understand statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
• Develop critical thinking skills, the ability to ask insightful questions, and the confidence to tackle data-related challenges
• Produce a data analysis project of your own

Faith in Action at Data Science Camp

At Taylor, we believe in shaping the whole person, not just the mind. Although data science work uses a lot of the mind, we recognize that no person operates without the heart and soul in action as well. Jesus has given us clear instruction from the greatest commandment to put our whole being into the worship and love of God.

When we work with data science or any other gift that God has given us, we do it for His glory and praise. At camp, students will discuss and think carefully about the application of verses like this in their own career path and interests as they relate to data science.
