  January Term (J-Term)

  Taylor’s 4-1-4 semester structure allows for focused international trips in January. Over 240 students will travel on Lighthouse service trips and academic trips this January.

Mission Statement

The Spencer Center for Global Engagement was established in January 2006 to expand the university’s ability to dynamically integrate Christian faith, life-long learning, and global service. It serves as a conduit for collaboration and innovation to unify and to reinforce Taylor’s purpose of whole person education and ministering Christ’s redemptive love, grace, and truth to a world in need. The Center also significantly enhances Taylor’s historical strength in global outreach, evangelism, and intercultural learning opportunities.
