Official Transcript Requests

Taylor University has partnered with Parchment to provide official Taylor University electronic transcripts. This is a FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974) compliant service. For students attending after 1993, Parchment allows for 24-hour ordering access to your Taylor University official transcript and immediate delivery for qualified transcript requests to designated recipients. For students attending prior to 1993, electronic delivery is available; however two business days should be allowed for processing due to the need to manually process records prior to 1993. Please note, if there are institutional holds on your transcript which prevent ordering and delivery, you will be notified of this during the ordering process.

All transcript requests must be submitted online and paid for by a valid debit or credit card. The cost for an official transcript is $5.00. Additional fees may be assessed depending upon any optional services selected. The available delivery options include electronic (secure .pdf file details provided via e-mail), printed and mailed by Parchment, and printed and held for pickup on campus in the Office of the Registrar. Email notifications are provided at each step in the ordering and processing of your request.

Request your official Taylor University transcript. You will be prompted to enter your email address; if you do not have a current account associated with your email, you will be required to create an account. For assistance with this ordering process, call 765-998-5129.

Some receiving parties require a hard copy transcript be submitted with a matching form. For this service, you must submit your request online through Parchment and choose the “pick up” option. Then, you must email your matching document (including the receiving party’s mailing address) to registrar@taylor.edu. In the email, attach the document and indicate that you have ordered a transcript using the “pick up” option on Parchment. The Office of the Registrar will then mail your transcript along with the document to the address indicated on the form and transcript request.

Apostille Service

The Office of the Registrar can provide a signed and notarized official transcript or diploma (fees are associated with requesting transcripts and duplicate diplomas) to the Indiana Secretary of State Office at your request.

Please read all requirements for Apostille Service by the Indiana Secretary of State Office.

To request your prepared documents from Taylor University for use by the Indiana Secretary of State Office, you must follow these steps:

  1. Request an official transcript or a duplicate diploma.
  2. Prepare a postage-paid envelope addressed to the Indiana Secretary of State Office using the address posted on their website. Prepare a second postage-paid envelope addressed to yourself for the return of your document and the apostille by the Indiana Secretary of State Office.
  3. Review and provide all other items as listed on the Indiana Secretary of State Office website.
  4. Mail all items in steps 1 through 3 to Office of the Registrar, Taylor University, 1846 Main Street, Upland, IN 46989.

The Office of the Register will process your request, including having the transcript or diploma signed and notarized and forwarded along with all other materials to the Indiana Secretary of State Office. The Office of the Registrar processing time should be 1-3 days, but could be delayed due to incomplete preparation materials on your part or the immediate unavailability of a notary public.

Note: It is highly recommended that your postage-paid envelopes are pre-paid trackable service mailing labels, especially if your time is limited or your service must be performed on your original diploma. Be sure to maintain copies of the trackable numbers for tracking purposes. Taylor University cannot be responsible for delivery service providers.
