School of Nursing

Called to care, ready to thrive.

The need for qualified, compassionate nurses and healthcare workers has never been greater.

  • The average age of nurses throughout the country is 52, and by the year 2030, up to 1 million nurses will retire. (2020 National Nursing Workforce Survey)
  • An aging population will need more nursing care. By 2034, US Census figures project 77 million Americans will be 65 or older.
  • Increased access to health insurance, extended lifespans, and advancements in healthcare technologies provide a steady supply of patients in need of quality care.

Taylor University’s School of Nursing is preparing graduates to meet these needs. By partnering with Parkview Health, a key Indiana healthcare provider with 19 locations in the area, nursing students have access to training facilities, clinical and practicum locations, and job opportunities. Clinical classes will begin in the spring of 2025.
