Assistant Professor of Psychology
I attended Covenant College where I majored in and fell in love with psychology and theology. I followed that love through a master's degree at the University of Tennessee, a divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary, and a doctorate from the University of Notre Dame - all while working in youth ministry, higher education, and even a brief stint as a statistician for Little Debbie. My research examines how parents nurture faith in their children, and how children carry that faith into adulthood. I am particularly excited about the ways the application of psychological research can serve the church and inform ministry.
