The Women’s Giving Circle is a welcoming circle of women who combine their resources to support the Taylor Fund, strengthen Taylor academic departments, and impact students through funding innovative projects and opportunities.
Each year faculty are invited to submit proposals (one-year grants for a maximum of $5,000 or two-year grants for a maximum of $10,000) for special initiatives outside of their departmental budgets. Proposals are reviewed by Giving Circle members during early fall and funding is determined by October 1. Faculty grant awards are announced during Homecoming and Family Weekend.
During Homecoming & Family Weekend, members meet as a group on campus and hear from faculty and academic departments who receive funding through the Giving Circle.
Membership is on an annual basis and begins with a suggested gift of $1,000 to be received by September 15 (one-time or multiple gifts). The suggested gift for alumni out of Taylor 0-5 years is $250 and for those 6-10 years out, the suggested gift is $500.
Membership donations can be made by clicking below and selecting Women’s Giving Circle in the dropdown list; or, by mailing a check(s) to Taylor University—Women’s Giving Circle, 1846 Main Street, Upland, IN, check memo line Women’s Giving Circle. Please note if you plan to make a one-time gift or multiple gifts.
The University requests gifts to the Giving Circle be in addition to traditional giving to Taylor. Gifts are tax-deductible and can be made by check or credit card. There is equal input into project funding determination regardless of the gift size.
