The third iteration of Samuel Morris Hall, built in 1998, is home to just over 289 students. One of only two all-male residence halls on Taylor’s campus, Morris follows a traditional residence hall layout with centrally located lounges on each floor.
Known informally as "Sammy," each hall floor has its own identity and culture. Students living on Foundation, Sammy II, The Brotherhood, and Penthouse pass down a variety of traditions and events that carry on year after year. These identities and traditions make Samuel Morris Hall an amazing place to live. Some hall and floor activities include Dude Week, all-hall worship night, Frolf (Frisbee golf), Sammy II’s Restaurant Open House, and more!
