A Well-Rounded, Practical Education

Learn to meet the needs of individuals with ASD through hands-on experiences and first-hand stories. This minor gives you the chance to see and appreciate whole-person, lifetime treatment.  

  • Cultivate expertise in using applied behavioral principles across multiple environments (home, school, early intervention, clinical) to address various social, behavioral, and communication difficulties for individuals with autism. 
  • Connect with the Autism community: licensed field professionals, community practitioners, ASD researchers, families with children with ASD, and individuals with ASD will visit your classes as guest speakers.  
  • Experience and participate in practicums at child and adult intervention sites, state and national professional conferences and service-learning trips.
