Taylor University’s Chemistry program is approved by the American Chemical Society and the only Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) university in Indiana with ACS approval.
Taylor offers numerous chemistry research opportunities that build resumes and count toward academic credit, providing you with firsthand experiences you’ll need to succeed as a chemist or chemistry graduate student.

Taylor has paved the path to graduate school for you with articulation agreements with the following universities. This means that, following application and other requirements, all your classes will transfer and you will be well on your way to your next step in your healthcare career. Talk to your academic advisor for more information.
In addition to standard chemistry requirements, you’ll take classes in cell biology, genetics, and anatomy and physiology. Chemistry Pre-Med is highly recommended for students pursuing dentistry, pharmacy, or pharmaceutical science. With the availability of specific additional electives, students can tailor their preparation to meet their specific goals.
