  • Joe Dickman

    Class of 2020

The Chemistry Department is home to great scientists and Christians. The faculty mentored me during "chemistry dinners" and other extra-classroom events and ensured I pursued my career goals and grew in my faith.

  • Erica Mitchell

    Class of 2020

My undergrad research advisors helped me work toward a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Georgia. In events like our weekly Women in Chemistry meetings, I grew close to fellow students and professors.

  • Noah Kuszak

    Class of 2019

Taylor’s chemistry lab provides opportunities that many students don’t get until post-graduate work. You get hands-on experience with multiple instruments while working with faculty on research.

Minor in Chemistry

Gain a thorough understanding of general, inorganic, organic, and analytical chemistry. As the central science, a minor in Chemistry pairs well with other science degrees, especially disciplines where chemical analysis is crucial for fundamental or applied research.
