    Explore the world of independent filmmaking by traveling to the Sundance Film Festival in January, the top festival in the United States. With cast and crew present at each screening, it’s a great educational experience.

  • Envision Film Festival

    See the best Taylor film work of the year at Taylor’s Envision Film Festival in March. Consider entering some of your best work in our two high school competitions; one for film and another for screenwriting. The high school winners can earn scholarship dollars for their freshman year at Taylor!

    Exceptional Film & Media Arts students with a passion for working and serving in the entertainment industry who have a 3.25 GPA overall may apply to the Los Angeles Internship Program. Those accepted spend one semester of their junior or senior year in Los Angeles, learning what it means to thrive as a Christian in the entertainment industry.

  • International Production Trip

    Travel overseas with the Film program, learning what it takes to tell the stories of another culture. Fulfill Taylor’s cross-cultural requirement with a camera in your hands. In past years, students have gone to Rwanda, Uganda, Guatemala, Ecuador, and Portugal.

  • Taylor Film Camp

    High school students, get ready to plunge into the world of film production with Taylor University’s hands-on summer Film Camp. Fueled by your creativity, this high-energy, fast-paced film production week will take you from concept, to scripting, through shooting and post-production editing.
