  • Setting the Final Scene

    During your senior year, you will develop your own music theatre showcase, featuring a variety of musical theatre genres. The Musical Theatre program culminates with a capstone performance, demonstrating students’ skills and talents through scenes, monologues, songs, and dance.

  • Performance Spaces

    The Butz-Carruth Recital Hall and Mitchell Theater host musical theatre and opera productions. This is also where you’ll audition for various roles and practice what is taught in the classroom.
  • Audition & Scholarship Information

    The Music, Theatre, & Dance Scholarship is presented to outstanding high school seniors and transfer students who are committed to a career in music, theatre, or dance. The total award amounts vary depending on the student’s musical ability and the needs of the Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance. To qualify, students must declare a major in the department, complete the scholarship application, and audition in person or video.
