Public Relations (Major/Minor)

Create, develop, and execute professional PR campaigns in corporate, agency, nonprofit, or ministry settings.

You’ll gain experience with clients—helping them improve their reputations, inform their audiences, and promote their organizations in their communities. Learn how to manage information truthfully and responsibly and use interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain good relationships.

Put theory into action through project-based courses where you’ll do work for real clients. You’ll close your time at Taylor with a senior capstone course, where you’ll compile a professional print and online portfolio and develop a personal brand. Through it all, we’ll talk about the process of contemplating the role ethics plays in the job of a public relations professional.

Connect with alumni who are working in different PR contexts across the globe and serve as great role models for the way PR can make a positive, Christ-honoring difference in the world.
