At Taylor, the Communication major breaks the mold.
With small class sizes, discussion-based courses, and service-learning projects, you’ll have the framework to succeed in any career. Sharpen your critical thinking and spoken, written, and nonverbal communication skills, equipping yourself as a leader and team player for a broad range of careers. You’ll carry valuable experiences into internships, interviews, and dream jobs.
This streamlined field of study provides a strong foundation in communicating oral, mediated, interpersonal, and public messages. You’ll gain an understanding of how the various mediums and aesthetics impact message interpretation. You can also opt to add an organizational communication concentration that will prepare you to lead in both corporate and nonprofit settings with practical skills in training, leadership, and consulting.
