Promising Ventures hosts enterprising events. With Shark Tank, students share their best business ideas to complete for a financial investment prize. Startup Storytellers is an entrepreneurship conference that brings TU alumni and students together to share their start-up business stories.
Get experience managing an investment fund. This is an applied course in equity analysis and portfolio management. You will help set objectives, strategy, and selection criteria for managing over $5 million of Taylor’s Endowment Fund.
You and your peers will produce quarterly reports and meet with the Board of Trustees. You can even compete in New York City at the national QGAME forum, where judges evaluate brokerage statements and calculate the risk-adjusted return of the portfolio.
Develop skills and enhance your resume. Taylor’s SHRM Student Chapter is a professional development, service-oriented organization.
As a student member, you help facilitate chapter events such as Learning to Network, Navigating LinkedIn, and more. You also work alongside other campus organizations at a variety of events.
